IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE

Dear Esteemed Patients, 

From the beginning, we have always valued the health and safety of our patients, and see this as our top priority. It has come to our attention that the Covid-19 pandemic is becoming an even more vital topic, and we have decided to take action on a few matters to ensure that the novel virus does not affect our patients. The following are important pieces of information our patients should know.

As of tomorrow, March 18th, Columbia Dental will start operating its Main Office location, at 483 Middle Turnpike West in Manchester, on a 24-hour basis to ensure that patients with emergency dental situations do not need to go to emergency rooms, which are currently experiencing high patient volumes.

Columbia Dental is as always sterilizing its equipment and sanitizing operating rooms, and we have taken various additional precautions due to the current situation, including the further sanitation of dental laboratories, all waiting and operating rooms, and all surfaces which could lead to possible contamination.

In accordance with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC,) we are advising that older adults, and those who have serious chronic medical conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and lung disease, be even more vigilant as they are at a higher risk of serious damage from the virus.

If you have recently traveled internationally, we advise you take extra precautions, which are outlined by the CDC.

We are monitoring this situation on a day to day basis and are carefully looking at advisories made by the Connecticut State Department of Public Health, CDC, and World Health Organization (WHO.) As this is an updating situation, we will be updating this report when necessary.

Columbia Dental will continue to be fully operational at all of our 15 locations across Connecticut until further notice.

ACTUALAZACIÓN IMORTANTE SOBRE COVID-19

Estimados pacientes,

Desde el principio, nosotros tenemos presente la salud y la seguridad de nuestros pacientes, y esta es nuestra prioridad. Desde hace unos días, el virus Covid-19 se convirtió en una pandemia y decidimos tomar acción para que el virus no afecte a nuestros pacientes. Les informamos que los pasos que vamos a seguir son los siguientes.

A partir de mañana, 18 de marzo, Columbia Dental dará servicio a emergencias 24 horas en nuestra locación central de Manchester en 483 Middle Turnpike West, para que nuestros pacientes no tengan que ir a las salas de emergencia ya que estarán saturadas.

Como siempre, Columbia Dental mantiene sus instrumentos esterilizados y las salas desinfectadas, aparte estamos tomando precauciones adicionales incluyendo la sanitación adicional de nuestros laboratorios, todas nuestras salas, y todas las superficies en nuestra compañía.

De acuerdo con el CDC, estamos advirtiendo a personas mayores o a quien tenga alguna enfermedad crónica como puede ser problemas de corazón, diabetes, o problemas de respiración deben estar más precavidos porque ellos tienen un riesgo mayor a causa del virus.

Si usted viajo internacionalmente, por favor tomen una precaución extra. Estas precauciones están descritas por el CDC.

Estamos mirando esta situación en una basis regular y también estamos mirando a los avisos del Connecticut State Department of Public Health, el CDC, y el Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS/WHO).
