QUALITATIVE FIT TESTING

QUALITATIVE FIT TESTING😷

Dear esteemed patients,

At Columbia Dental, your safety is our number one priority. Therefore, we would like to announce the new measures we have adopted to ensure that your experience with us continues to be pleasurable, efficient, and most important of all – safe.

Firstly, we would like you to acknowledge that since the early days of this pandemic, we have had KN95 masks at our disposal. As the situation rapidly progressed, our management team realized the need not only for KN95 masks but also for N95 respirators. Although the N95 respirators came at a high cost, we rapidly bought them, realizing how vital they were. Currently, we are proud to announce that we have an abundance of both KN95 and N95 masks, ready at the disposal of our doctors, dental assistants, and employees.

To make our community even safer, we have required that all our doctors and dental assistants have their N95 respirators go through Qualitative Fit Testing. This process ensures that their masks fit them, thus keeping our community at low risk of contracting Covid-19. Although Qualitative Fit Testing is a costly process, we believe it will benefit our employees and patients alike.

Please note that masks are required to enter any Columbia Dental premise. All patients will be required to fill out a Covid-19 questionnaire upon arrival. Service will not be provided to those with symptoms of Covid-19, those who have come in close contact with those who have/had Covid-19, or those who have traveled outside the United States within the past 14 days.

Dr. Abbas Mohammadi – our owner and founder, and his team at Columbia Dental, sincerely hope that these new protective measures suit our patients well. As always, we continue to wipe all surfaces, monitor the situation, and take hygiene seriously.

– The team at Columbia Dental.
